Monday Update – Part!!! 4!!!!

Yeah, so anyway, as you saw from the middle of the week, Death’s Reach is nearing completion. This week I’ll be revising and sending it off in manageable bites to my proofreaders.

In case you missed the cover and don’t want to scroll down to the previous post, here it is again:

That’s Death on the cover, btw. What’s Death up to in a world that’s undead? You’ll know soon enough.

As far as participating in Milwordy, word count is at 27,511 of 1,000,000. I need to be around 80k to be back on schedule for January by the end of the month. That’s a bit behind. Not worried yet though.

The next Monday update will reveal details about Spilling Blood Season II and other projects.

Now.. for number of releases. Remember, the plan is to publish 14 books in 2014. I have released 1 so far this year, under another pen name. Hey, that still counts. So that’s 1/14, with Death’s Reach going to be #2.

The release of Death’s Reach is right around the corner. In the coming days, I’ll be throwing out some teasers about the book leading up to its launch, but let’s start with this…

deathsreachsmallishThis beautiful cover was designed by Jen Pack at Black Cat Studios Design & Photography, and features the Goddess of Death. This is the second book cover she’s done for me (the first was Spilling Blood).

Monday Update 3 – Getting There Slowly

Last week’s productivity was slooooooooow…..

Thanks for checking back in with me. Last week was slow going, so not a lot to report. however, Death’s Reach is almost done, and I have a cover artist nearing completion. All my energy this week will be going into getting the book revised and finished.

As far as Milwordy goes, I need over 80,000 words by the end of this month, and I’ve yet to pass 30k, so I’ve let myself slip as I clean up these projects. I’ll leave it at that.

Monday Update – Death’s Reach (Hungry Gods 2)

Monday Update #2! Happy Monday! First off, Death’s Reach (Hungry Gods Book 2) is now past the first draft stage and on to stage two. I KNOW i said last week that it could be done by the end of this week, but it’s probably two weeks further out. By the way, I’m really bad at these time guestimations. The only correct answer is “soonish”, with a goal of this month.

Other fun stuff – the next book after Death’s Reach is a ghost story. More details next week.

Words written Last Week: 9,638. For Month/Year (Milwordy- 2014): 25,379.

DEATH’S REACH (HUNGRY GODS BOOK 2) UPDATE

Last week was a great writing week, and the first draft of Death’s Reach, Book 2 of the Hungry Gods series is almost complete. Hopefully I’ll have a cover to share with you after next weekend. You could be reading it on your kindle by the end of next week. Next Monday I should have a better idea of a release date.
