On October 1st (today!!!), you can read the Spilling Blood serial novels for free!!!! Episode 1 is available today through the 5th, Episode 2 will be available on the 3rd, and so on. Spilling More Blood
When I started the Spilling Blood serial, I wanted to create a vampire series reminiscent of vampires in the 80’s. Vampires of this era were killers, still looking for a good time, but leaving no doubt that they are still monsters. Spilling Blood takes its influence from the likes of Anne Rice, the Vampire: the Masquerade RPG, and horror movies such as Lost Boys and Near Dark. I hope you’ll find the books stayed true to their influences.
It’s been a fun run, over the course of, geez, about 5 years. Now, the vampire serial, Spilling Blood, is nearing its end. This week brings the release of Spilling Blood episode 13. You can grab it now for $0.99. The price will go up in a few days.
If you are new to the Spilling Blood series, you can now try episode 1 for $0.99 (as well as episodes 2, 3, and 4 at the same price, if you like to read in a serial format).
If you like it? Great! The price for the complete 1st season has also been dropped to $2.99. That’s the bundle, and you can read Season 1 like a novel.
On that note, we’re a week or two from the last book’s release. Episode 14 is coming soon, wrapping up Season 3.

Writer’s Life Update April 22, 16

Okay, so I’m working on a change to these Writer’s Life updates, and this is not it. However, it’s getting me back into the habit of getting these posts daily again. But then, I also slept until after 8 am today, when I typically get up at 5 or so, so that’s not exactly a great start either. When it changes, you’ll know it. It’ll hopefully be a big deal to this site. 😀
ANYWAY! I’m patiently waiting for Apocalypse Witch 3 to come back one last time with approval, and then I should have it released this weekend. After that? I plan on teasing the 3 book set of Apocalypse Witch (the cover is amazing, if I do say so myself), and then Spilling Blood 12. That’s all happening in the next three weeks (a book a week, finally!) Also, I have a pen name novella in the editing process I intend to release this week too. So despite sharing my time elsewhere (I’m looking at you, Post Office 😉 ) I’ve got projects finally reaching completion. I haven’t touched any new short stories in a month, and probably won’t until May.
And also for today? I’ll be enjoying lunch with the winners of the Broken Things presentation and essay contest from the Magic Valley High School for their One Book One School program!
